Bicycle Safety Weekly Reflection.
WEEK 7 REFLECTION
What Learning did you find challenging this week?
Something that I found challenging at cycle safety was that when we were at the grass it would be a hard push of and a hard time to change gears because you are slowly moving.
How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?
I used a growth mindset by not giving up and at the end I would change my gears to gear 3 so I have a better advantage when I had to go.
What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?
Something about cycle safety that I am proud of is that I could find a easier way to lift my bike and a easier way to turn around and other things.
Why are you proud if it?
I am proud of it because now when I am at my Mums or Dads house when I go on my bike I can use these skills to help me with sort of not crashing into things.

Music - E-portfolio Sample - Term 4 2018
This term we have been learning how to play some new rhythms on our bucket drums.
We learnt to play the down beat where we play on each beat, it looks like this:
Then we learnt to play the front beat where we only play on beats 1 and 3, it looks like this:
We also learnt to play the back beat where we only play on beats 2 and 4, it looks like this:
After we had practiced the beats we learnt to play along with some songs.
What do you think is the most important thing to do so that you stay in time when you are playing on the bucket drums?
Looking at the words on the screen and not talking to your friends which helps with also being able to hear the beats so yo can copy them yourself.
Which song do you think would be good to play the bucket drums to and why?
We will rock you because it has a really good beat which sounds really good on bucket drums.
What could you do to improve your bucket drumming in the future?
Something I could do to improve my bucket drumming skills are that I could practice at home in front of a mirror and pretend there's a crowd in front of me.

Term 4 Passion Project Proposal
My Passion Project title is…
Who am I working with? Cody, Naoki, Levi
|
| Whats the physics behind boats cars and planes. |
What are my big questions to guide my learning?
|
| 1. How will we make a plane, will we have to make a car base then make a plane body to put on it. 2. Once we have found how the boats cars and plains move we will research how to make pop sickle stick and rubber band vehicles so we can make our own and test them out. |
I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?)
|
| 1. We can find out lots of facts about cars, boats and plains of how they float fly and drive. 2. Gives us more information so we could make our own types of boats plains and cars so we can make big races. 3. It's way different to sports and we could be creative about our vehicles. |
What are some possible ways I could share my learning? Choose 3 possible ways.
1) Facebook
2) Posters
3) Slides
|
What materials will I need to accomplish my task?
|
| A computer, Popsicle sticks, hot glue guns with hot glue sticks, rubber bands, Woodcut knife set from school, sandpaper. |
What problems do I foresee occurring during this project and what will I do to solve them?
|
| Rubber bands will snap and we will fix it by using new rubber bands in a packet. There might not be the right websites so we will need to search more or type in a different sentence. |
When problems come up, who can I contact for support / assistance? (Mentor)
|
| Parents, Teachers bigger brothers or sisters. |
How will this project help me, my family, the community or the world?
|
| It might because I can share the facts with family. |
